Missionary to the Saraguro people of Ecuador
with SIM
Abby serves the indigenous Saraguro people of southern Ecuador. In her ministry she works with local believers to make disciples who make disciples in their communities, as well as training leaders and mentoring young people. She also leads the 'Planting and Strengthening Rural Churches' team in SIM Ecuador.

The native language of Saraguro is Kichwa. The Kichwa Bible has been translated and is available in a written version. However the Saraguros are an oral people group.
Since the introduction of the internet 15 years ago, videos and audio transmission of information has taken off in the community like never before, as the people engage with information in a style that is natural to them.
Now the door is opening for the Bible to be accessible, not only in the method they’re accustomed to, but also in their own language.
